We have around 40 matches a year plus three meetings, played between the months of March and October, typically with teams of 12-16 members. The majority of matches are foursomes.
Our matches cover clubs bounded by Deal and Hayling Island, Denham and Rochester & Cobham, with a concentration to the south-west of London. As well as matches against clubs, we play other societies, such as The Seniors, The Lucifers, MCC, The Hazards and The Veteran Ladies GA all played on wonderful courses.
We also have five tours: at Westward Ho! and Burnham & Berrow on our South-West Tour, at Aldeburgh, at Royal Porthcawl where the match consists of an overnight stay with two rounds of golf and a dinner, our North West Tour and our Dorset Tour.
We have a Match Play competition each year, played during the summer and with the final planned to take place at the Autumn Meeting.
At our Autumn and Spring Meetings we have singles and foursomes competitions. For the recently introduced President’s Vase a singles competition is played. Pairings are arranged by the meetings’ managers, avoiding pairings of members from the same club.
